Do people really think its cool to self harm?
I know that its actually a type of illness and people do it because of things going on in their life and stuff, but do some poeple do it because it looks cool?

I f people do it to be cool then they are fools.brSome do it as a cry for help, some do it for attention, some do it because it because it becomes a habit.brI spent a year in a psychotherapy hospital amp some of the residents there certainly werent attempting to be cool.brThe pain amp anguish these people were going thru was, at times unbearable, both for them amp for those who tried to help. I remember one sweet young girl quotCut Upquot one day amp after being discharged from hospital we put her to bed amp I sat with her all night. When she was asleep she looked so peaceful amp free of care she was sexually abused by her father when young. It was quite a spiritual moment, made me realize that my troubles were of nothing.brMy reason for self harming or quotCutting Upquot was pure anger, an inner rage amp the flow of a little blood seemed to quell that rage, but that night, looking at that sweet angels face persuaded me not to harm myself or anyone else ever again. brSo if there are people out there who think its cool, IT AINT!!!!
